Located in the south of the Gironde, 40 minutes from Bordeaux and 20 minutes from the Graves and Sauternais golf courses, Château Malromé offers a gentle and warm atmosphere in the heart of a preserved nature. It will be your refuge for a day or a golfing stay, while taking advantage of numerous activities: visits (oenological and cultural), restaurant, guest rooms, massages, walks in the forest and animations all year round.
The former family home of Countess Adèle de Toulouse-Lautrec and the famous painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Château Toulouse-Lautrec Malromé is both a 43-hectare vineyard that has been in operation for five centuries and a special place to live, steeped in history and rich in biodiversity.
Guest rooms
Château Malromé offers 5 comfortable and spacious rooms named after the muses of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec: Suzanne, Carmen, Misia, Louise and May.
The atmosphere has been designed to be restful, and the decoration refined for a stay as in your own holiday home, … inviting you to relax around a gourmet meal, a visit, a tasting, a massage.
Les Abeilles restaurant
It offers a local bistronomic cuisine, tasty and refined. This resolutely modern cuisine reflects the perfect balance between tradition and modernity, which suits Château Malromé well.
Lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday, family lunch on Sunday.
Cultural visits
Discover the Life and Work of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec: immerse yourself in the flats of the famous painter and in the five centuries of history of the Château, as told by a guide.
During this visit, you will have the privilege of discovering some thirty original works by the artist: sketches, lithographs and posters.
The wine
Château Malromé is one of the oldest winegrowing estates still in operation, in organic conversion since 2020. You will discover the vat room, the barrel cellar and the techniques explained by the team during the oenological tour “Toulouse-Lautrec’s wine”.
You will end your discovery with a commented tasting of 4 wines from the estate.
All guided tours (oenological, cultural) offer access to the exhibition “L’instant d’une vie” by Laurent Pernot, in the 230 m2 contemporary art gallery (exhibition open until January 1st 2023 inclusive).
